Terri Schiavo's mother Mary Schindler is like another Mary

Um, let's not take this too far.

Too late. We've had FReepers advocating armed insurrection, FGS, to say nothing about calling out the National guard, the federal marshalls, and the 82nd Airborne.

It's totally slipped the rails.

Considering that our government officials are doing a pretty good job of playing Pilate, I'm not sure this is too far off.

There is nothing fanatical here. Every Catholic is told to be like Christ, they call it alterchriti (not sure of the spelling). We are also taught to emulate Mary the Mother of God. This is very conventional and not at all fanatical. Unless you consider all Catholics fanatical?

I too see that the analogy seems a bit much.

But I also see an innocent person being killed. I see people who on one side give a thumbs up and on the other side a thumbs down as far as the question of life. I see people in power saying who can be killed and others following their orders. I see other people in power washing their hands of the situation. I see still more powerful people calling for death for their own political purposes. I see a family grieving and powerless to stop the murder. I see a person who is being put through a painful and horrid death. I see someone who once was supposed to love the person being killed turn on the person to be killed.

I happen to be seeing this all before Easter. Hmm.

LOL!

This internet-enhanced mass hysteria and the cast of sideline, non-family players is for the history books.

BTW, for the "husband is Satan" and "husband denied care" folks, they should read this:
