I miss out on all the fun when it happens.

You missed out on the Generic Cashiers Check.

I pulled this off of CU. I hope they don't mind. There is an apostrophe in Cashier's..and a Bank name.

If you look closely at the enlarged copy of the checks on DU, you can tell that 'Customer Copy' is below the shading seen on the xeroxed copy. That looks typed on to me, AFTER THE FACT.

The whole check looks like something you'd pick up at an office supply, but of course, you wouldn't get that type of item at an office supply.

Any other thoughts?

You must have missed the discussion about Undie's flights to Baltimore for his pre-op meeting with his surgeon, followed by a flight to Ohio for one of his inane seminars (where he shares his "knowledge" of "election fraud" with gullible attendees)....followed by a flight back to Baltimore for his "scheduled surgery...all in one week! Sounds pretty sick to me - NOT!

Just one. What business/organization in their right mind would accept a cashier ' s check without the issuing banks name and address printed on it?

Those look like the one I pay my fuel supplier with from The Bank and Trust. The ones from the Sonora First National Bank are the carbon type but they have the same information. I don't use them as much as the others.

Well now, home early from work...lighting a beautiful Arturo Fuente 8-5-8, poured a fine cabernet sauvignon...let the entertainment begin!

Now you've done it. Time to pour out a few shots of Early Times sippin' whiskey.

You might really be on to something here. In fact, Andygate might be the biggest coup since Rathergate.

Remember, Andy learned from the best.

Andy Stephenson to Bev Harris: "When last we met, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you were the master. But now I am the master!

Just out of curiosity, I checked.

rdl6989 was the first on this edition.

The "routing numbers" are actually routing numbers, they're called "fractional routing numbers". The 32 on Undies check indicates that it was drawn on a "thrift" in the Federal Reserve's 12th district (SF, Seattle!, Portland).

Wonder how Undie got a cashier's check from a bank "back home" while he was in Baltimore?
