I can't read radiology-speak, so can't comment on the reports, but the cashier's checks are definite fakes.

Did you also notice that it says VOID visibly in the background. Photocopies of cashier's checks always have that feature. Payroll checks generally have it as well.

It's not obvious to the naked eye, but copy machines bring it out.

I called the FDIC. They said that the copy should have a bank name on it. To send a copy of these to alert@FDIC.gov and they can trace them to see if they are legit or fake.
