The DU folks who handed this guy money are idiots.
Expressing blind hatred for Bush is the only carrot any scam artist needs to separate those morons from their welfare checks.
He is doughey, like Andy Richter, but I think Undie definitely has the Conan hair thing going.
I liked Andy Richter Controls the Universe, it wasn't an instant classic like Get A Life, but it was clever and okay.

That was my first clue. Several people claim to have talked to his doctors and confirmed or denied it yet nobody questioned the privacy laws.
Because the "money lady" told them to bring the whole chunk of change in a brown paper bag over to the Johns Hopkins reception room and just leave it on the counter.
"Andy is claiming to have pancreatic cancer...very fast spreading and VERY fatal...30% survival rate. He's been claiming to have had it since Febuary."
That's another problem I have with this whole thing. My aunt found that she had pancreatic cancer and died inside of 6 months.
Since this DUFU edition went up so late last night, no AM edition today so folks can concentrate on this edition. I should have a PM edition online later.
I just had a doctor's visit yesterday and signed a "Privacy" notice. It basically stated no one in that office, especially the doctor, will release "any" information about me to anyone.
Good point...especially when everyone thinks your med records are already private.

As of 07:58 hrs this AM, there is no Andy, Andrew or Anders Stevenson listed as a patient at Johns Hopkins. This is from both the infromation operator and patient locators at JH.

As far as I know Andy hasn't called Skinner as Skinner urged him to do yesterday. BTW, doesn't Skinner live in D.C.? It's not that far from Baltimore. Since his whole forum is at stake in this scam, he should be going to Baltimore himself to check out the Andy story. And WHY hasn't Andy called him yet???
