My opinion is that liberal loons similar to Nifong have been waiting years to garner power in the Justice System to abuse their power to "get revenge" on his/her conservative enemy. The same conservative they saw as "The Man" back in the 60's and 70's. Wow, just think how screwed up our nation really would be if liberals were in positions of power in justice back in those decades. Makes me shudder a bit.

I have really mixed feelings about this case. It looks like the rape charge was out of line, yet it's difficult to work up a lot of sympathy for these typical preppy college repub types.
So, sympathy and justice should only be for hippies and moonbats, not "justice for all"....I guess it's not about the nature of the evidence, just the seriousness of the charge that counts....
Sorry for the generalization, but c'mon, look at 'em.

$500 fine if you are caught feeding a Key Deer. Key Deer are the smallest deer in the world. What happened is that during the last Ice Age, the Florida Keys were conntected to the mainland. Then as the earth warmed up, the water levels rose, leaving the Keys isolated islands. The deers remaining on them had only limited food supplies and quickly evolved into smaller critters than before. I guess they would make great pets because of their small size but there aren't many of them left.
Thre's something similar on Assateague, a Virgina Barrier Island. They're called Sika deer and are about the size of a German Shepherd. I believe they're originally from Japan. People poach them with a handful of popcorn and a baseball bat, then throw the tiny little bodies in the trunks of their cars. Disgusting.
