there are no “Presidents of Congress”. He was elected unanimously by congress, and if you will read the article, that included George Washington. So I apologize if i sound rude, but please do not argue with something if you have no supporting facts.
The president under the Articles was clearly the presiding officer of Congress and not the executive officer of the United States.
