You'd be jealous, too, if your closest encounter to fame was rubbing against the Nuge's loincloth First time I ever LOL'd at a DU comment. You gotta admit, that's pretty funny.

Huh.. for some reason it never occurred to me. I guess because he hung out in a bar that seemingly wasn't a gay bar.

To them we are either all like Larry the Cable Guy or Thurston Howell III from Gilligan's Island. I wouldn't mind being Thurston Howell the 3rd, although I would have cashed in Lovey for Maryann.

Since I only see about two new movies a year ( I consider most current film dreck) I have had to find other things to entertain me, like classic films, books, cooking, gardening, art, and (of course) posting on the internet.
I would like to remind the DUmmies that culture existed long before there were leftists. I don't believe Shakespeare or Dickens were democrats. When the Hollywood studio system was in full swing (up until the 60's) actors were FORBIDDEN in their contracts from making annoying and ill-informed political statements. To this day I have no idea if Cary Grant and David Niven were Republicans or democrats, and it doesn't matter to me, because they kept their opinions to themselves, realizing that they were actors and not experts on foreign policy or economics.
We DO however, have Dennis Miller, who has an IQ greater than the sum of the IQ scores of Michael Moore, Rosie O'Donnell, Jon Stewart, David Letterman, and Brad Pitt.
And think how much money we save by not supporting the mindless Hollywood set! All the better to free up money to donate to our favorite REPUBLICAN candidates! HA!

I guess I should be happy that he can get these pond scums so agitated. Agitated? Shrieking with laughter is not "agitation", Raven. It's amusement.
You know, amusement. That special quality that most DUmmies seem to have a hard time with.

I wonder what music these people listen to Bluegrass, almost exclusively.
or what films they watch?
Practically none, wise and lucky us.

they seem so obsessed with Will but they don't seem to want to tackle him on the important stuffPitt's got "important stuff"? Other than "the day the whole world changed" or "Rove was/will be/has been/might have been/would have been/indicted if-you-wait-24-business-hours" stuff? PJ tackled him on that "important stuff." So what else is there?

Let me see, we got the Viking Kitties, RKBA, DUmmies FUnnies, Spork Weasel, Undead Thread, Poetry Corner, Freeper Canteen, Silly Theads, Pookie's Toons.. Etc....Yep we lack imagination. I have visited MSM threads, & I can say with authority: NOTHING beats the FREE REPUBLIC. The wit & profundity here leave me humbled, not just entertained. Here I have learned the value of an informed opinion. Other websites leave me bored or irritated -- just a bunch of emotional gibberish.

You should have asked Raven if Will has been picking up his laundry in the basement.
To: GOP_Raider
For instance, do they EVER see stand-up comedy??
---
We see it all the time in DUmmieland. Only they aren't doing it intentionally.

You should show some respect to Raven. She's the only DUmmie mother who actually got her offspring to move out of the basement.
Of course, now he sleeps on the floor of Bukowski's, but you take what you can get.

To: kimmie7
Actually, I must admit Colbert is pretty funny. Of course, I don't care that much for BOR these days, so I don't mind seeing him lampooned.
To: NeoCaveman; cripplecreek; PJ-Comix
And who can forget Pitt's drunken late-night rants in DUmmieland? Or the sockpuppets who defended him after the Jason Leopold debacle?
