"Bloisterous": Would that be sort of a combination of "boisterous" and "blustery"? I don't know, and I'm very flustrated that someone would flount proper etiquette and make an unknown word such an intrical part of his sentence.

May I suggest 'bloister' as the opposite of 'cloister'. Thus, speaking in a bloisterous voice is engaging in loud, rude behavior not representative of a cloistered environment...or so this DUmmie may believe.

Just a suggestion :)
