He has been against every intuitive we have tried to bring forth in this war.

Not true. He voted for the Afghan police action and tried to pass a formal declaration of war. That would have put the Dims on record so they couldn't be-against-it-after-they-were-for-it. He also tried to get a bill of marque and reprisal to hire mercenary or tribal forces to apprehend or kill Osama and his top leadership. When asked how much he would spend, he indicated a starting sum of a billion dollars for the operation. Compared to what we've spent there, it would be a bargain.

Imagine what Blackwater could do with a license to hunt Bin Laden and a billion dollars to do it with.

And Ron Paul is still a great champion of missile defense, just as he was during the Reagan era.

So your charges that he is a weak sister on defense simply don't pan out. I accept you don't agree with him but please stick to his actual record. There's plenty there for you to disagree with.

Ok you win, ONE out of how many?

As far as the rest, the marque and reprisal bit has done in these pages again and again.

If mercenaries would work it would have been tried. there is a$50 Million bounty on the guys head.

There are also tactical considerations that maybe in play as well. Again this is 21st century warfare.
