What a joke.

Will the Romney people now be saying, “a vote for McCain is a vote for Huckabee”?

No matter how you look at it. Romney lost.

“Keep the news to only McCain getting 1 percent.”

Too late, the MSM is already interviewing the “West Virginia winner,” Mike Huckabee.

As already reported by Freepers. Apparently the RonPaulists went along with the game, too.

What was Huck promised so that he would stay in the race? I had no respect for Huck before this and now, he’s only prostituting himself.

Rumors are circulating that the McCain campaign instructed their delegates to defect over to Mike Huckabee's side as to avoid a Romney victory.

How do you all think this kind of politicking will play nationally?

Today, I cut my affiliation with the GOP. They can go the way of the Whigs.

What happened here was perfectly legal and pure, hard core politics. There is no doubt now...it is out in the open...that McCain will and is colluding with Huckabee to deny Rommney any success wherever he can.

I am hoping that most conservatives will be soured by this backroom political action that reeks of collusion and manipulation...and that it will backfire on them as conservatives vote against it...today.

Perhaps it is not collusion as you say, but simple payback for Romney running negative ads against other candidates. While you may not like McCain or Huckabee, you can understand why they didn’t like all the negative ads being run against them.

In politics payback can be a b*itch.

McCain has learned well from his master, H. Clinton. The dark side is strong in this one.
