My memory is fuzzy about Obama attending an official memorial service for Toot. My recollection is that she died just before he was elected and when he went back afterward, wasn’t it just a personal visit, spreading of ashes ... not the official service?

Toot "allegedly" died on Oct 31, not the night before the election like ZERO said. She was cremated like his mother, and scattered, like his mother, and both may be living just fine some place out of sight.

Just finished the video I posted above.

She died 2 days before he was elected.

They had a memorial service in a “small
home” that was converted into a church
(whatever that means) and then took
the ashes to the water.

(NECN) - President-elect Barack Obama’s trip to Hawaii was more than just a holiday — he also spent time at a private memorial service for his grandmother on Tuesday.

Madelyn Dunham helped raise Obama when he lived in Hawaii as a boy. The 86-year-old did not get a chance to see Obama win the election, as she passed away just two days before November 4th.

Obama attended the service in a small home that had been converted into a church.

After the service, he and his family members scattered her ashes off the cliffs into the Pacific.

...both may be living just fine some place out of sight.

Doubt that either is alive, although records indicate that Stanley Ann's identity, in its various "reincarnations," may have been used by others after her death.

That is if they were even related to zero....any DNA corroborating that, hard to get DNA from ashes.....

I wonder if he kept the urn that the ashes were in? Sometimes the urns are quite ornate and expensive. Did he “toss” it, too?

Don’t know why I’m asking....just thinking out loud.

Is a death certificate also something the public isn't entitled to in Hawaii?
