Can you take a look at TexasDarlings article posted above. Does Stanley Ann filing for divorce from Lolo in Hawaii make any sense to you?

No it doesn't make much sense for several reasons, the main one being that Dunham stayed on in Indonesia with her daughter Maya. The divorce was in Indonesia.

As far as I know, under Indonesian law even at that time, Stanley Ann Dunham would have only been able to initiate divorce proceedings under very limited and specific circumstances and then she would have to prove them according to Islamic law. Such as the husband was not following the religion (in which case Dunham would have to show herself to be a more pious person than Lolo), or that Lolo had abandoned her and not provided her and the children with the basic necessities of life or that Lolo was impotent and could not perform his marital duties as a husband.

Lolo would not have been able to take another with without written permission from Stanley Ann Dunham. Under Indonesian law, the first wife must agree to the husband taking a second wife.

From what I have uncovered, Lolo is the one who divorced Stanley Ann Dunham, he then remarried and fathered three children, two girls and one boy.
