I'm just stunned by what the Dems have dug up about Barry - from:

Berg Outraged: Obama & DNC file motion to delay discovery until after defendants motion to dismiss is decided

One of the comments provides some outstanding references - visit the sites below it you want to freak out...

I strongly suggest anyone just now "tuning in" to the horror-show that is Barack Hussein Barry Soetoro Muhammad Obama Dunham, please visit http://www.theobamafile.com, http://www.blogatroid.com, http://www.texasdarlin.wordpress.com, http://noquarterusa.net/blog/, and there are many links from these pages as well. You will quickly glean how very very very dangerous and baaaad this man is. I promise this is not mere political rhetoric; Obama is a total 100% FRAUD.
Obama also promised his IL constituency he would lower taxes on 95% of the people. He LIED.

“Anyone who wishes to seek the office of president should be required by law to produce documents proving his or her eligibility before even being allowed on a ballot.....”

Please add to that...they need to pass an FBI and NSA back ground check as well.

You'll need to amend the Constitution for that.

There are only three qualifications. Thirty-five years of age, natural born citizen, and having resided for fourteen years in the US.

That's it.

Anyone think to see if he has a Kenyan birth certificate?

No one has turned up anything.

By the way, are you the same Peter Finn who once ran for a seat on the California Assembly, 9th district?

He was born outside the country and is not eligible to run

There's nothing to prevent any person from running or otherwise seeking the office.

The only restriction is that they can't hold the office of President.

You're right. And the law should fix responsbility for confirming the authenticity of the document with the original source.

We need Congress to introduce and pass this legislation.

Only state legislatures can do that. Congress has no say as to who may appear on state ballots. That is entirely a state issue.

People need to understand that November 4th isn't a federal election. It's 50 state elections (plus the District of Columbia). And when we cast our votes, we're not electing a president, we're appointing our respective state's electors.

And Article II of our Constitution leaves the appointing of electors entirely up to the states.

He's apparently already opened up to a "fraud" charge.

Apparently Barry checked "No" on a official document from IL....having to do with him ever being a citizen of another country.

No, that myth was debunked some time ago.

Well, it was already pretty obvious to anyone who looked into it a bit that the ARDC's roll of attorneys list had nothing to do with the Illinois Bar application.

But Jeff Schreiber put the final nail in this myth's coffin in a piece he wrote over on his America's Right blog over a month ago.

Dissecting, and Refuting, Philip Berg's Perjury Claim

I have it on good authority that they know about it...and apparently so does Phil Berg, the attorney/plaintiff in this case (he even acknowledges it in his complaint).

The word is that RNC oppo research team went to Mombassa as the chaos surrounding Cousin Odinga’s “election dispute” was going on.

Hmmm...how could they have gotten hold of a document of this nature in the midst of full-blown government chaos? Surely, staffing the Vital Records Bureau wasn’t a top priority when there are limbs to be removed and Christians to burn. Would a certain incumbent-president of Kenya have been willing to help out the RNC?

I bet the decision took less than 2 seconds when he looked out his window at the violent bunch of machete wielding Islamofascists led by Obama’s cousin...particularly when Obama repeatedly blasted the Kenyan government during his 2006 stopoff to campaign for Cousin Odinga’s presidential bid.

Rumor has it that the oppo squad hit town as things were settling down...Kibaki knew that he would have to enter a power sharing agreement with Cousin Odinga and the US Inauguration on January 20, 2009 suddenly became very important.

Church burnings and ethnic cleansing vs. slipping the RNC the political kryptonite needed to bring down the Community Organizer in Chief...pretty easy call in my book...saving myself and my country from widescale bloodshed AND getting some sweet revenge on Barry and Odingbat. Priceless.

If you're referring to the myth that Obama was a citizen of another country, you are incorrect.

From Obama's "Fight the Smears" website

"When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire.  As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948.  That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children."

"Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982."

It would seem that showing a birth certificate would be a whole lot cheaper than paying an army of lawyers, unless of course, there actually was something to hide.
It gets more and more interesting.

I would really welcome having Obama disqualified and Hillary appointed to take his place.

Granted, it is 50 state elections. But it is a joint session of the U.S. Congress that certifies the election. Therefore ultimately they have the responsibility to certify that the candidate is valid.

Certainly, the congress can pass a law to have the executive branch verify the eligibility of everyone appearing on any state ballot for president.

Clarification. The joint session of congress certifies the election by the electoral college.

Still, there is nothing that prevents congress from directing the executive branchto verify eligibility and provide the proof to congress.

The word is that RNC oppo research team went to Mombassa as the chaos surrounding Cousin Odinga’s “election dispute” was going on.

Is this the same RNC opposition research team that Larry Johnson of NoQuarter reported had gone to Hawaii and acquired Obama's original Hawaiian birth certificate and that it was in the name of Barry Soetoro?

Back on August 9th, Johnson wrote:

Did I also mention how small Hawaii is? Republican operatives, with help from their own island backers, have unearthed critical information on Obama and are just biding their time until after the convention to drop it on him. Such as? Having a birth certificate that lists you as Barry Soetoro.

So which birth certificate are they going to drop on him? The one from Hawaii or the one from Kenya?

I was speaking of the myth that he lied on his application to the Illinois Bar.

Certainly, the congress can pass a law to have the executive branch verify the eligibility of everyone appearing on any state ballot for president.

No, they can't.

Again, Article II of the Constitution expressly leaves the appointing of electors up to the states.

Each state shall appoint, in the manner as the legislature thereof may direct, a number of electors, equal to the whole number if Senators and Representatives to which the state may be entitled in the Congress...

And conservatives should be the last people who need to be reminded of the Tenth Amendment.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

All Congress may do is challenge the votes cast by the electors on the first Monday following the second Wednesday of December, which this year will be December 15th.
