McCain won. Obama lost. Obama's non answer about Israel will haunt him like Ayers for the rest of the campaign.

Obama's campaign will be imploding for the next four weeks, as the 527's and Palin and McCain tie him to Ayers, Rezko, Wright and Freddie Mac and Fannie May.

Iran vs. Israel [Bill Whittle - NRO]

Quote:

McCain: Of course we would come to their aid without waiting for the UN.

Obama: We would use "all our tools" and "sanctions" and "cost-benefit analysis."

So let me get this straight: Obama wants to preemptively attack a country without provocation in Pakistan, but refuses to commit to use military force to defend an ally after THEY have been invaded.

Got it.

Unquote.

I agree with you that McCain won. Period.

I can not understand why so many are saying “it was a tie” or “they both did what they needed to do”.....

Ah, COME ON THERE PEOPLE.

There was no knock out drag out fight. And there was no “I knew so and so, and you are not so and so” moment. But something did come out of this debate that I don’t think was there so MUCH before the debate.

How many people could follow McCain and know they were in good hands? How many people could feel comfortable in Barack Obama’s hands?

While there were no big surprises here, John McCain showed character, integrity, commitment, and leadership.

Obama showed he didn’t know as much as John McCain.

If that isn’t a BIG win for John McCain, I don’t know what it!

It should..... but do u think the MSM will mention the non answer?
will they question the Obama doctrine where he says....”IF” we have the ability?

Will he ever be questioned if he was wrong on the surge???...and actually GIVE an answer?

Will he ever be asked again...How much will the fine be for not providing health insurance???

Will his answer about living hi off the hog be contrasted with his own brother??

Will he ever be asked if he is indeed the 2nd highest bribed politician by Frannie and Freddie?

Will he ever be asked if he still thinks that Projector is a good use of taxpayers money?

Shuuuush!...listen for the crickets!!!

I can stop reading now. The debates are one thing; winning is another. Let’s keep the ball rolling FOR McCain.

I hope you are right but the economy trumps EVERYTHING right now.

McCain MUST address this at every speech - with a package of reforms / solid / and talk about getting people elected to Congress to get these measures passed:

Tax cuts for individuals and businesses - (but this should happen BEFORE Jan 2009 - still talk about it and why this will help the economy.

Energy financial security - drill asap

And there have got to be some other ECONOMIC incentives in his plan - free market- that will work - that must be discussed along with why putting a taxer and spender into office at this time is like pouring gasoline onto a raging fire.

The foreign minister of Hamas has recently endorsed Obama for president, another story that has sunk like a stone, barely reported other than by Fox and WorldNetDaily, even though Sen. John McCain brought it up on the campaign trail.

In 1998, reports Wallsten, Obama attended a speech by Edward Said in which Said called for a nonviolent campaign “against settlements, against Israeli apartheid.” Later, Obama and his wife were photographed at dinner with Said. “If only Obama could burn this picture,” writes Al Ahram, but the Cairo paper printed the picture anyway.

Abraham Foxman, national director for the Anti-Defamation League, told the Los Angeles Times, “In the context of [Obama] spending 20 years in a church” where anti-Israel rhetoric was repeated, “that’s what makes his presence at an Arab-American event with a Said a greater concern.”

Wallsten reports that Abunimah of Electronic Intifada said he heard Obama call for an “even-handed approach” toward Israel. In 2004, when Obama was running for the Senate, Abunimah quoted Obama as saying that he was sorry he wasn’t talking more about the Palestinian cause, but that his primary campaign had constrained what he could say. (Obama told Jewish leaders in Cleveland recently that a pro-Israel position is not necessarily a pro-Likud one.)

More anti- American friends of “The One”. Old news but should be remembered I think.
