Everytime Obama plays pin the economic crisis on Bush, McCain needs to bring up Obamas participation in class action lawsuit against Citibank because they weren’t participating in subprime mortages like ACORN wanted them to.
I’d like to hear these points made at the next debate.
In the last six months there have been 292 people murdered [verify] in Chicago vs 221 [verify] killed in Iraq. Sens. Barack Obama & Dick Durbin, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., Gov. Rod Blogojevich, House leader Mike Madigan, Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike), Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley).....the leadership in Illinois.....all Democrats.
State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country.
Cook County (Chicago) sales tax 10.25% highest in country...
Chicago school system, definitely one of the worst.
This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois. And he’s gonna ‘fix’ Washington politics?
Mr. Obama came to prominence in the same system that welcomes terrorists and appoints them to universities and prestigious community agitation boards. This is a system that has institutionalized voter fraud. Obama comes from a system where anti-American diatribes are cheered and community organizers routinely shake down businesses via threats and intimidation.
There’s already enough corruption in DC. Do we really need to bring in the Chicago machine? Do we need a president that, regardless of how clean he may be personally, can’t smell the stinking political corruption when it’s right under his nose?
And, I regret to bring this up, here in this forum, but there are other questions American need to have answered. Mr. Obama has released no personal documentation, including his citizenship records nor his birth certificate, for which there is a court case on-going right now. Mr. Obama, I think I speak for millions of Americans when I call on you to release these and other personal records to the American people at once.
But even if you were to release these papers and that they certify you as eligible to hold the highest office in the land, this does not make you qualified, nor does it mean you have the appropriate character. By your choices of associates, your frequent and admitted lapses of judgement, and the still unaccounted-for time gaps in your adult life, it is clear to many of us that you are not qualified, and not of appropriate character to fill the highest office of this great land. ....

Daily press conferences. Every other day it’s Palin, every other day it’s McCain. A scandal a day keeps the Messiah away.
Free Republic has plenty of material to proceed from. The MSM will ignore much of it anyways, so the lack of depth to any investigation won’t mean anything.

Beat him over the head with the fact that he caused the current mess we are in by giving loans to people who couldn't or wouldn't pay. What the hell were they thinking? My 401K is almost gone because of Dodd, Frank and the rest of the congressional criminals and I'm mad as hell.
What possible reason could they have had for keeping us dependent on foreign oil? Sending half a TRILLION dollars to our enemies makes sense how?

You have one more chance next Wednesday, tell the truth but TAKE IT TO THEM. Obama is NOT A NICE GUY, look what his operatives are trying to do to Sarah. The press HATES YOU, they are not your friend.
If a moderate hasn't made up his mind by now he is either LYING or too STUPID to warrant your attention. What do you think will help you more; pandering to some brain dead moderate or FIRING UP YOUR BASE to work their asses off to get you elected? The past two days should give you a clue. Some of us have been waiting since 1988 to have another candidate that actually appreciates and SUPPORTS those of us on the grassroot frontlines.

This is why IMHO we’re losing. NO ONE here is going to like what I have to say, but I am going to say it anyway. I probably won’t be welcome here anymore, but then I feel as if my party has abandon me, so I don’t know if it matters.
I live in CA, (bluest of blue) but I work in the financial/insurance industry around a LOT of very smart CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS who ALL think the GOP & the McCain campaign as a whole have gone over a cliff. These were once die-hard Republicans, and they’re all mad as hell. We feel as though we’re members of a once honorable party that has become filled with hate and racist rage, that despises education and intelligence, and have embraced the term “Joe Sixpack” as if it’s a compliment, and that honestly, none of us recognize anymore.
Most of the actions of the McCain campaign look pathetically desperate at this point, and it grows worse every day. I am sickened by their behavior. I never thought I’d say that.
1. McCain DOES need to talk about the issues - like HOW to fix the economy, or we’re going to lose by even more. People are SICK of negative campaigning and are no longer listening to it. (I don’t think people would care if there was tape of BO biting the heads off live animals, they want the ECONOMY FIXED.)
2. As some of you know, I was a HUGE Sarah fan, but now I’m out. I am beyond disappointed. She’s not the smart gal I thought she was, and she’s become an albatross around McCain’s neck. He needs to dump her now, and pick Romney, the sooner the better. (And someone tell her to stop wearing the porn boots and put her hair back up. The “new look” has only made her appear more shallow - if that was possible.) Yes, I’m a WOMAN, appearance is important, and she is NOT the role model I once thought she was.
3. Sarah is becoming more of a liability every day. First with the Troopergate scandal and now (according to the MSM) whipping up the stupid people to shouting out KILL HIM at her rallies, people calling BO a terrorist, etc... If anything actually happens to him, the party will be DONE. (I’m almost sure it already is.) When you get predominate members of the GOP saying the same thing, maybe it’s time we listened.
4. The Ayres thing is ridiculous on it’s face. There’s NOTHING THERE. Obama was 8 when Ayers was a 60’s radical, and now he’s an award winning Educator (I know people who actually had him as a professor.) This looks especially bad because Todd Palin was a member of the AIP, & McCain was in the Keating 5. This tactic smacks of pathetic desperation.
5. If McCain knows how to get Bin Laden - then he had better DO IT NOW. If he has all this knowledge, then the best thing he could do is share his intelligence, do it, and get the job done. That would be putting country first, and he’d probably win the election. Talking about it in the debates makes him look like a first class a-hole because he’s using it as a bribe to get elected. That is not Country First.
9. That ACORN is actually getting press (finally) is a good thing, but just because it’s about voter fraud (which ALL voter fraud across the board, on both sides needs to be brought to light - and there’s plenty - and stopped), however, it’s not going to stick either, because it looks again, like a desperate move. It doesn’t matter that BO’s firm represented ACORN 1995. NO ONE CARES. They care that they’re going to lose their jobs because the credit market is frozen. Some of our biggest clients (including HUGE MONEY law firms) cannot make payroll because the credit market is frozen. (If you think lawsuits take forever, it’s even longer for the money to come thru...)
10. Talking about Obama’s NAME is the most pathetic of all. Seriously. It makes the party look especially stupid, as if your NAME had anything to do with your ACTIONS. Cassius Clay changed his name to Mohammad Ali - and became a Muslim. Do you actually think anyone thought LESS of HIM when he did that??? And the endless videos on youtube of stupid white people at the McCain/Palin rallies saying Obama’s NAME=terrorist makes us look like a party full of uneducated IDIOTS - and if that’s what we’ve become, then I’M DONE. I was once in the SMART, EDUCATED GOP - WTF happened????
Bottom line, if the party doesn’t GROW UP, and start acting honorable again, then it’s OVER. The more negative we get, the dumber we look, and the bigger we’re going to lose.
Of course, that is MY OPINION. But I’d like to see a little class, grace, and intelligence from our side, and that has been severely lacking, and I am sickened by it.
IF WE CAN’T WIN ON THE ISSUES, THEN WE DON’T DESERVE TO WIN.

We must all email/fax/call McCain’s offices that “If you are not tough enough to handle Sen. Obama, how can you be trusted to stare down at terrorists and handle them? If you are so scared of this and that repercussions from taking a stand on exposing Obama, what makes you character material to deal with Iran, Russia, N. Korea?”
If you don’t feel comfortable verbally confronting Obama, then at least, unleash Gov. Palin & let her go after alliance with Rev. Wright and company!
If your concern is rally supporter’s extreme reaction, Why won’t you run ads connecting Obama to his OTHER radical pals like Wright, Odinga, Farrakhan?
McCain Camp MUST come up with different issues, and fresh expose on Obama’s lies rather than the same old Ayer’s story. . People can get tired of it.
It’s far EASIER to connect to Wright & nail him than Ayers!

McCain hasn't done any "negative campaigning". His campaign - just last week- began with solidifying the Ayers/NObama connection. This must continue. It is not negative campaigning when it is the FULL ON TRUTH. Same thing with Rev Wright, Rezko, Acorn...........on and on.

-- Romney? Please. We'd be in a political hole that we couldn't crawl out of. At least with Sarah we have all the mindful Christians on board, and new found momentum. EVERTHING IS THERE!!!! It doesn't matter when Ayers did his thing. He was unrepentant and NObama hung out with the guy a lot. They're buddies; hardly "just a guy from the neighborhood". McCain needs to push the truth out to everyone every step of the way until Nov 4th.
