Madonna is a classic secular liberal “success” - rich, empty and bitterly unhappy no matter how famous or wealthy they are. She is jealous of the inner wealth somebody of moral conviction like Sarah Palin possesses.
Indeed, a "happy Liberal" is an oxymoron. Liberalism itself is the clutching, screaming anxity that somewhere, someone is enjoying the fruits of their own labors and doesn't feel guilty about it.
My ancestors pretty much stole this nation's lands and resources from the American Indian, but they had no concept of "property" and so deserved to lose it. I am sorry and unrepentant that my collective peoples were better warriors then they were; you got the free casinos, have a nice day. This massive collection of natural resources is what enabled my nation to become the biggest, and baddest nation on earth, able to bring tyrants to heel. If it weren't for the few times we have been unfair, we wouldn't have the riches it took to defeat the Kaiser, the Nazis and the Communists and so have saved the world three times, soon to be four, and the rest of the world are a bunch of envious tin-pot dictators or socialists anyway. We have shed more of our own blood trying to protect the rest of the world than any other nation, and spend more money being nice to greedy, ungrateful upstart nations than any other nation. We are constantly accused of being a greedy empire, which if it were true, we would have just taken the damn oil from Kuwait and Iraq like the Libs all said we were going to. (And I thought the war was "all about oil"? What ever happened to that?)
Other cultures? Other cultures? Despite the insane attempts by the Left to make a bunch of ill-schooled, backwater, pagan and worse foreigners equal to our own state of illumination, a full half of the world is run by dictatorial morons, most of them more bloated on their own press releases and self-important than the bald guy in "Princess Bride". A full third of the world is occupied by insane Muzzies who are stuck in the prior Millenium, and who call us "infidels" and go on to blow up their own people with bombs strapped to their own children in a hidiously unproductive attempt to hurt the very people who are selfishly trying to deliver food, water, power and a brighter tomorrow to their own people.
And the French? Don't get me started. And the English? Even worse.
So, I feel absolutely no guilt about my children growing up with a better education than most, over America using 25% of the world's resources, over my going home tonight and enjoying a fine steak and an adult beverage. America does the bulk of the advancement for the human race; we should reap the benefits, and that drives sad, self-absorbed, confused, self-hating liberals just mad.
