Thanks for your prayers...my husband and I drove to Valley Forge this morning. It was beautiful, though cold. We walked up and overlooked the redoubts where the Revolutionary Forces stayed and where George Washington prayed for this country and knelt in prayer ourselves. We prayed that God would not give us Obama as president, though we may as a country deserve him...but to give his servants, John McCain and Sarah Palin, an opportunity to turn this country around for I have no doubt that they love this country and love the Lord.
Last night my husband and I watched The Patriot and were deeply moved once again by the sacrifice and importance of the cause of freedom. May God see fit to offer mercy once again to a nation where so many reject Him.

I rode down to VF on my motorcycle a month ago, to do basically the same thing as you. I thought it would be good to return to the painful turnaround in the birth of our nation to renew the vision in my heart. How far we have come, for both good and bad. May the Lord have mercy, for His Name’s sake.
