Miraculously, when he takes office the volatility of the stock market will subside.
All Islamists will cease their fighting, they have to lull the American people into a false sense of security.
I think the first few months will be their socialist utopia, until they unleash all hell upon America.

I think you are pretty much on the mark. He won by 6 percent of the vote and I would venture to say that at least 10 to 15 percent of his vote was not from people who are obsessed with him, but just wanting whatever change from the Republicans that a Democrat would bring. If he tried to create some sort of police state or take away civil liberties in a fundamental way he would definitely lose most of that 10 to 15 percent and set himself up for defeat in 2012. He will raises taxes, he will weaken our military, he will embolden our enemies, and he will engage in a lot of shady deals to get what he wants. I also think he will try to get most of this the first 6 months because after that, if things don’t improve dramatically (and they won’t) a lot of middle of the road and conservative Democrats on the hill are going to be looking out for their own skin and not giving him carte blanche to do whatever he wants.

As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, if the people quit sitting on their hands and demand that constitutionally clueless Obama and the likewise clueless Congress were to respect the limited powers that the Constitution, which they have hypocritically sworn to defend, has actually delegated to the federal government, then Obama would essentially be a lame duck president before he even takes the oath of office. In fact, I think that God has given the Oval Office to Obama to force the people to reconnect with the Constitution and its history in order to protect themselves from Socialist Obama’s misguided pen.
He will begin by tossing as many goodies as possible to his base through Executive Orders, nominating kindred spirits to important posts, “cleansing” the ranks of U.S. attorneys to include only loyalists to the Dem party, urging passage of the abortion rights act and the unions’ vote act, and repeal of DOMA.
He will maintain a huge underground internet attack force to defend his policies and attack critics.
He will continue raising money as much as possible from untraceable sources in order to fund Dem races in 2010 for his chosen favorite sons (and daughters).
The bailout money will be directed towards his base of unions and “the poor”, increasing their leverage on the middle and upper classes.
He will continue to do everything he can to stoke class envy.
In public, after an initial liberal orgy, he will appear to tack to the right toward the center in time for the 2010 elections. The MSM will eat this up as a sign of his “growth” in office and continue pushing change and hope, especially after he directs some bailout money to the MSM parent corporations.
By 2010, most states will have enacted early voting laws due to pressure from his surrogates such as ACORN or activist judges.
As the economy continues to deteriorate due to anti-capitalist policies, he will blame the problems on American adventurism and cite the economic crisis as a reason for disengaging in Iraq and Afghanistan.
When terrorist acts hit the U.S. and its foreign interests, he will blame Bush and assure everyone that he will soothe the anger of the Muslim beast now.
Israel will be isolated and expected to cede to the desires of the Muslim nations around it, including right of return and loss of Jerusalem, if it wants any aid from the U.S.
Gays will be permitted to serve opening in the military.
Abortions will be on demand at any time, in any medical facility, at taxpayer cost.
New taxes will be targeted towards unpopular groups of citizens, starting with gun owners, large vehicle owner, commuters, purchasers of luxury items, owners of homes large than a fixed square footage.
The U.S. currency will be tied to the E.U.’s currency.
Illegal aliens will be legalized or put on the track to be legalized. The border patrol will be cut by being severely unfunded “because of the economic crisis”, as will the military.
Dissidents will be publicly shunned as an example to others.
As much as possible will be accomplished through routes other than the legislative one, such as the aforementioned executive orders, through litigation, propositions, and international agreements that fall short of treaties. He knows his own party is not as far left as he and his friends so he will leave them out of the picture as much as possible to get his desires and leave them some wiggle room for their coming elections.
He will do everything he can to enact the far left agenda, whether constitutional or unconstitutional, trusting that either his appointees in the Supreme Court will eventually uphold him or the acts will have established a “new reality” which the courts will be hesitant to overrule (just as the gays in California argued a four-month marriage license period established a new reality which should not be overthrown).
Then, when he really gets into gear . . . . ;o)
Probably, The One will expand refugee programs to bring in more Africans to this country.
I am amazed in seeing how many Africans are in this country through refugee programs. I see more foreign aid to 3rd world countries, esp. Africa.

He is too inexperienced to accomplish much and his staff of advisers plus the power loving Congress will engage in “behind the scenes struggles” further hampering BO’s bold promises.
I don’t believe he will reduce our military readiness but will cut back our foreign deployments: Korea, Germany, Japan and Iraq.
We have no clue what the financial problems will bring: deflation, inflation, stagflation and high unemployment. BO may be totally bogged down just dealing with our new Great Depression to accomplish much of anything.
Finally, the statistical probability of a major terrorist attack increases daily; depending upon the severity of that or those attacks, could set the course for worsening financial problems, a new war of major proportions, Marshal Law and curtailment of our civil liberties that will morph into a dictatorship or communistic form of government.
Other than those possibilities, I see a rosy future ahead for America.

He’ll reimpose the assault weapons ban and try for a mandatory trigger guard protection on all gun sales. He’ll choose one of the toughest state gun restriction laws and try for a federal law reflecting that same approach.
He’ll renew the fairness doctrine and we freepers will start to see signs that in particular, he is focusing on right wing websites like us.
He’ll go further than the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy in the military, with some kind of required sensitivity training from the top down. Military morale will be low, just like in the Clinton years. He’ll lob a few cruise missiles at some empty tents.
He will get illegal alien amnesty passed. Welcome, 20 Million new democrat voters. Ugh.
He’ll cut the military budgets by at least 15% and increase welfare/social spending by 20-25%, with a resulting higher deficit.
The economy will go into stagflation. Interest rates will go up. He will bail out the big 3 auto makers but Chrysler is doomed, so it will end up as the big 2.
He will start easing some of the antitrust laws.
He will raise taxes on the middle class, calling them the new rich or something like that, so basically anyone over $120k/family will get hit.
He will get rid of the Selective Service System. Our wars have been and will be fought by volunteers. (This is one thing I agree with him.) He’ll expand the GI Bill.
He will ask Hillary Clinton to re-attempt a universal health care bill. It will fail.
