Not sure, i don’t have cable and haven’t watched TV in years (no lie). Anyway, said he saw it on one of those news channels covering the story, Fox or CNN or something.
I was wishing I had TV that night, but saw alot of it anyway, just not what the reporters were doing etc.

There is no way that Bush was in Chicago that night, he would have got murdered by Obama supporters.
Bush made those comments the next day after the election, I think shortly after the Bush’s invited the Obama’s to the White House.
