The first problem with this is that you and Obama exalt Lincoln above what he really was. That being said I think it is rather comical that Obama will use Lincoln’s bible and I hope that somehoe, in an ironic way, that Lincoln gets to see it all from his place on high.

As Pres elect he needs to take the oath. It need not be on a Bible, but he apparently does not wish to set a precedent of torquing off the 80% of the citizenry who are Christian.

Obama and Lincoln could not be more different. Lincoln was born in a log cabin on the frontier and worked his way up the hard way winning respect from others gradually. Obama had everything handed to him. Lincoln craved knowledge and walked miles to get books. Obama was sent to an exclusive private school and spent his time getting high and skipping class. Lincoln established a reputation as his own man. Obama was backed by leftists like Ayers and Dohrn who got him his first job, racists like Rev Wright and Louis Farrakhan and corrupt political slimeballs like Rezco and Blago. Lincoln was principled and ran for office on deeply felt and articulated beliefs, Obama is unprincipled, believes in nothing and based his career on empty slogans like hope and change. Lincoln was attacked viciously by the press, Obama was worshiped by the MSM who lie for him constantly. Lincoln was known as honest Abe. Obama lies about ever aspect of his life.

Lincoln only later decided to free the slaves. He thought it his main task to hold the Union together.

It is actually the very real crack up of the union that is most to be feared from an obama presidency—starting with Hawaii.

If you look at Obama’s statements in the past concerning Indian reservations...his suggestions have been that he will move them toward full nationhood status.

He would then apply the same standards to Hawaiians—giving the mixed race hawaiians of Oahu a free hand to extort property from the rest of the islanders.

This is a lesson that would not be lost on the Mexicans of the southwest. They would be next in line.
