Speaking of good deals, I turned down a great deal for Panthers ice hockey tickets for 4 today-—FREE!!! I should have taken them because I’ve never seen ice hockey in person. The guy said I can get some more free tickets in a few weeks. I might take up the offer.
I went to one hockey game live, the Nashville Predators, back in ‘98 or ‘99. I could not follow the dang puck. I had no idea where it was. At least on TV they show that blue streak for hockey morons like me.
You should go. I've been to many Phila. Flyers hockey games. I like watching it more than basketball (too much scoring) and baseball (too slow of pace). Keep your eye on the puck, though. Another thing to do for a while is to just watch the best player on the ice and concentrate on him. Remember what Wayne gretzy said.."I don't skate to where the puck is now, I skate to where I think it's going to be".
