Good point. But I am counting on zero to screw things up so much that an awakening will take place in this country in the same vein of the Carter to Reagan era. Except even more amplified.
I don't know anymore. I thought Bama's stimulus and ensuing budget were massive screw ups in the 'new' world of Bama's hope and change. And given all the promises made by Bama, I expected the majority of Americans would be insulted by a paltry sum of 13 bucks a week in change would be considered a stimulus.
I guess they will have to wait a year to find out their stimulus was short lived when their windfall this year raised their taxation bracket. Maybe Congress allowing the Bush tax cuts to wither away on the vine will be the shock therapy that wakes more up but I am not seeing that trend.
I thought that when the speculators drove up the price of 'oil' at break neck speed it would awaken Americans to the fact that liberals have made holy shrines of our natural resources in the name of 'green'. But no, oil prices miraculously dropped and it is as if there is no memory it ever happened.
