Your welcome.
Are you claiming that is the only subsidy in place for wind and that 30% investment tax credit only equals 0.9¢/kWH?
I've been reading about it for years and the way I understand it, for the first 10 years a windturbine owner gets about 2.9 cents per kwhr produced. At first that 2.9 cents had to be used against a tax liability but I believe that is no longer the case. More recently they are allowing wind turbine owners to get a 30 percent of that credit up front rather than on a per kwhr generated basis.
The industry realized that as wind power gets more popular this can't continue. But they still campaign for the PTC extensions. Have you ever heard of the black lung fund? It pertains to coal miners that get black lung and I believe it is funded by the fed and amounts to billions of dollars just for a health care subsidy for coal. The pure capitalist loathes subsidies but they are everywhere.
Oh yes; my father's family were all coal miners. His father died of lung cancer.
