Olde Frothingslosh cans had some theme variations in the mid 1960’s:

French “Champain” which was “painfully effervescent”

German “Schnopps”: “Ach, mein Gosh, ist Frothingslosh!”

Japanese “Socky”: endorsed by “Sumo Karate (Chop-chop)”

And an Italian “Chianty” label emblazoned with two enormous grape-stomping feet.

I remember those cans. Sure wish I’d saved some of them.

Raising my hand...but remembering it was only the same stuff that was Iron City beer,which I had always assumed was somehow connected to a horse with serious kidney problems.

Back in that day I preferred Stroh's..."America's only fire-brewed beer."
