How many here have actually drank an olde frothingslosh?
*raising my hand*
Yep.
And a Rege Cordic fan (and fellow alum of the HS that produced Dan Marino)
Olde Frothingslosh cans had some theme variations in the mid 1960’s:
French “Champain” which was “painfully effervescent”
German “Schnopps”: “Ach, mein Gosh, ist Frothingslosh!”
Japanese “Socky”: endorsed by “Sumo Karate (Chop-chop)”
And an Italian “Chianty” label emblazoned with two enormous grape-stomping feet.
I remember those cans. Sure wish I’d saved some of them.
;^)
I got my hand up ...
Haven’t seen it around for a while though.
Raising my hand...but remembering it was only the same stuff that was Iron City beer, which I had always assumed was somehow connected to a horse with serious kidney problems.
Back in that day I preferred Stroh's..."America's only fire-brewed beer."
