They did not tax too much, 1 out of 3 isn't bad in the present situation.
The republicans also in the house voted against the TARP bailout (plus immigration - amnesty) so maybe they are learning at least something.
The electable alternative is what?

Why should the electorate believe them now? Because their party's leader likes to be hip-hop? Because they say conservatism is dead? Because they like "nice" Republicans like Collins and Snowjob?
