Palin is popular with bible belt, evangelical Christians, a demographic with a very high divorce rate. The facts probably support your contention that her supporters drink beer and watch NASCAR, though, so good work on that.

Very high compared to what? They probably have the highest marriage rate too. I think that the divorce rate would be higher in demographic groups that at least make an attempt at marriage, compared to the groups that give us the concepts of the “baby daddy”, “single mother” (not divorced mother, or widowed mother), “Heather has two mommies”, and living with your girlfriend who is also the mother of your children.
