I wouldn't be. Some middle eastern crazies will be among the first to try, because they will view him as a bigger enemy for not pulling out of the middle east. Either due to his heritage or his political promises, or a combination, they will be more angry at him than a true westerner.

There are credible stories of people wishing to do harm to whomever happens to be the presiding president or a governor, for that matter, on a very regular basis. The thing that is remarkable about this story is that it was given coverage.

Color me skeptical.

Color me EXTREMELY skeptical. This is the sort of story one circulates when one's approval rating is dropping like a stone and one needs public support and sympathy pronto.
