Meanwhile the southern border doesn’t need more National Guard because the border is already under control. There are “random” shootings every other day in Tucson. A friend was telling me earlier about one of his friends who went outside the other day saw a guy drive recklessly into the neighborhood, so he told the guy to slow down because there are a lot of little kids around. The guy pulled out a gun and pointed it at him. The friend asked, “Was he a National?” (meaning Mexican National) “Yep,” replied the friend’s friend. This was in a place we drive by every single day. There was a “random” shooting across from our grocery store the other night. Gang/drug shooting is what it was. These are Mexicans who have brought their wars into our country. And Gabby Giffords (Tucson Congresscritter who lives in Houston and DC with her astronaut husband) is wanting a law that Arizona voters have had to approve during the last two elections to be revoked so that businesses can hire illegals.
The more these people say, the more I understand why Janet Napolitano issued the anti-military memo. Those folks had to know that they would incite much anger when they released the harsh interrogation memos. They don’t give a darn about anyone. If I were in the military I would have a hard time defending the current leadership. If I were assigned to protect these people, I would have to resign. I NEVER felt that way about President Clinton who I did poke fun at a time or two. I have no humor regarding the current administration.

Thank you for posting this. I think Liz Cheney did an excellent job. She stayed on topic, dodged the ambushes of the host, and made her points. I wish more Republicans were this effective at getting the message out to the unwashed. It’s not easy, but given the chance, it is possible.
