Seems like a lot of ammo to me, but when you stop to think there are 50M households with guns, and if each bought only a box of a hundred, then that’s 5B. So I guess his numbers are reasonable.

I can assure you that MANY have basements and barns full. Hundreds of thousands. Go to some of the gun forums and search ammo. Some post pics of their ammo stocks. Some have it delivered by trucks. I don’t think any people realize just how heavily armed citizens are.
