I do not put my trust in the mindless. But I do put it in the tens of millions of Americans who are not mindless and who love our Republic...and who also know many of the people who have been taken in by these quislings.

We have more than enough people...we just need to get direct and stand up, and we need to get those we know to stand with us.

That's the problem and there are more than enough if we will simply stand.

Our forefathers had this same problem and they spent a couple of decades trying to wrangel with tyrants before they ultimately stood.

Exactly. I give to 700 Club sometimes, March of Dimes or Cancer Society but not always. Salvation Army, Rescue Mission, and other Christian groups we try to support, esp. around the holidays.

My main answer to my lefty acquaintances who say Christ would have wanted us to do this (whatever it is at the time) is
YES, but as a church or as an individual believer, a good Samaritan... and I will contribute privately to these causes, not via taxes.

He did not advocate the government taking over the roll of the church and the roll of God in our lives. He did not advocate the government becoming God.

I downloaded the song because it is very stirring. I should have known that it was a little too good to be true. These creatures are just unbelievable.

I just replayed the song “Born Again American” and there is nothing in it that would indicate some hidden agenda. It talks about the Bible and adherence to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and the original intent of the Founders. It would seem that they have taken this song and used it to cover for their true Socialist agenda. I wonder if the people that performed in this piece know what they are being used for. I tend to doubt it.

They talk about "My Country tis of Me", they also talk about an America of Greed, and how bad corporate CEOs are. Many of the versus, though the tune and beat is good, and though the words are downplayed, echo screeds of the left.

When you read about the guy who wrote the thing, he indicates that the Bill of rights is meant to be his Bible.

Bottom line...they have put together a good production, good music, catchy tune...and lyrics that at first grab you., and couple it with a pledge that sounds good, but the donations and time you spend are going to be going toward a leftist agenda that is meant to tear dwon traditional America.

When I first heard that line, I took it to mean taking personal responsibility for keeping the country safe and prosperous. Now it takes on a new more sinister meaning. As in it's all about "Me".

It was the line that made me look more deeply. It is a cler change to theline in "America the Beautiful", "My Country tis of Thee".
