I have two children who were born in Hawaii and for that reason, and their Certificates of Live Birth in my possession, I know perfectly well that the “Certification of Live Birth” that Chrissy was showing around is a crock that wouldn’t even succeed in getting your kids enrolled in Little League. You have the Crackerjack Box treat version.

You ought to get in touch with the authorities in Hawaii and tell them that you want the REAL birth certificates for your kids, the “Certificate of Live Birth,” especially if you think they might want to join the military, get a passport, open a bank account, or get a driver’s license.

I get tired of stating, there is no such thing as a long or short form birth certificate, there is only one kind, and sir that is the legal birth certificate. I KNOW it is real because I have 3 children born in Hawaii, and that is it. The hospital is never on it, no foot print, no photo copies, etc, that is how it is. Like it or not, it is the legal Birth Certificate for the state of Hawaii.

I think this had a bit to do with Matthews waving around a supposed hardcopy of the COLB with a raised seal and folds and all. One wonders where he got this document as it supposedly has not been released. And one also wonders why the seal and the folds were not obvious on the image that was posted on Obama's website.

It is also curious that Matthews made a big deal about redacting the document's serial number as if this might reveal some deep dark secret to the viewing public. It's not clear to me whether this serial number is one that supposedly was issued back in 1961; or when the COLB was issued, but in either case it is something that could be used to prove the Matthews document is a forgery if it were out of whatever the normal sequence was or there were a record that that serial number had been issued for a different document.

Whatever, no one can expect someone like Liddy to have a document wave in his face and for him to make an on the spot determination that it is a forgery.

I have my original birth cert. from 70 years ago...doesn’t look like any I have seen on the net...It might depend on what state you were born in...and has the state seal impressed on it..
