No they onl claim to have seen the "certified" Certification of Live Birth. They say they went to Obama Campaign HQ to see it and photograph it.
Of course there is no way the images(s) first presented on "Daily Kos" and the campaign's own "Fight the Smears" sites are of the same piece of paper that Factcheck photographed.

The only one who has said anything about destroying birth certificates is CNN/Jon Klein. Are we supposed to take his word for it???? Get real.

Get real. The entire issue here resides upon the fact that we want the Court to hear this case and make a ruling. We are for having the Court rule on this and you are against it.
So dont give me that “Not in any court...” crap considering it is you who are trying to prevent it from beig ruled upon in Court.

I am surprised that the Clinton’s detective squad did not find out more on the Baraq birth issue though. That’s the one thing that makes me wonder.......

You’re not going to get a ruling on Obama being required to show his birth certificate, because Obama and any other candidate (past or present) are not legally required to produce a birth certificate. All they do is swear an oath that they are qualified in those three areas that the Constitution specifies and they are qualified. It’s the same for all candidates....
If you want to get the birth certificate, you’re going to have to get a state law enacted to legally require a candidate to produce his birth certificate or else he cannot be on that state’s ballot. That’s what I’ve worked with the legislature in my state in order to accomplish this very thing...
I’m waiting for someone to show me the lie. So far I haven’t seen anyone do it. After over one year of trying, no one has been able to do it.... let me know when it happens...
He would completely zap the naysayers (I'm one) and forever be able to say "you mean those right wingers who were also certain I didn't have a genuine birth certificate?" But he can't. He is trapped, and we need to keep the screws turned on him.
Here’s another way to prove this is yet another lie to cover for him. If the paper documents were all destroyed in 2001, have anybody else born in 1961 request their original, long-form birth certificate tomorrow in Hawaii, and see what happens.
Hasn’t there also been posted somewhere on FR the HI website that describes how to go about getting a copy of the long-form birth certificate? Obviously you can get a verified digital image of the actual document. If they went electronic, they took digital images. I still don’t believe they threw them all out—wouldn’t that be a potentially litigious action?

You’re right about the Constitution in regards to the qualifications. And Obama actually agrees with the Constitution and complies with it. He’s signed off on compliance with the three things that are required for office, per the Constitution.
So, there is not a disagreement with the Constitution, in regards to Obama and the qualifications.
BUT, that is not what many posters are talking about. What they are talking about is the “birth certificate” and the Constitution has nothing to say about producing a birth certificate. In fact, in addition to the Constitution not requiring it — there is no other law requiring any candidate to produce a birth certificate for office.
So, all candidates and Obama are not legally required to provide a birth certificate (and neither by way of the Constitution). That’s why — if you want to see a birth certificate — you will have to have a law that specifies if the candidate wants to be on the ballot they must produce a birth certificate.
As popular as he is you would think you couldn’t sling a dead cat without hitting at least a dozen people who claim to have “known him when.” But that’s just not the case. No pictures of him as a kid at a birthday party or a class picture of him in elementary school. Regardless of how poor a person’s upbringing or how the sheltered the life someone has led there’s always pictures and other mementos of the person’s life. Just doesn’t seem to be the case here.
It’s like someone found a person with the proper personality and magnetic persona, then set about giving them a history, just enough to stand up under the cursory inspection he has undergone.
Obama signing a piece of paper does NOT make for Constitutional eligibility.

Obama is not a ‘natural born citizen’. His signing these forms only proves that he is a fraud.
