I was at a wedding last week, and during the course of the post-nuptials evening entertainmnet, they were showing pictures of the bride and groom pre-wedding on a slideshow. I just about dropped my champagne when they showed a picture of the bride on a trip to NYC with a friend. They were posing smiling at the camera with their arms around the shoulder of an older black man with long, stingy hair. Yes indeed, Al Sharpton was the black man in the middle. To top that off, they later showed of picture of the groom and a friend with their arms around the shoulders of a fiftyish, grey-haired man with a cherubic face. Yes indeed, the while man in the middle was (ta da) Newt Gingrich.

If it is displeasing to you, get rid of it instead of working with what ya got to improve it.

Well, you gotta think about what type guests we are talking about.
The person, whose name shall not be mentioned, whose wedding that someone I know may or may not attend, will probably have guests that would be pissed if they weren’t served lots of wine spritzers and tofu.
My guests, on the other hand, would be pissed if they didn’t have plenty of BudLight. In fact, they would probably bring their own.

When the first Acorn story broke, they were making the argument, seriously, that the Acorn employees were plants working closely with the guy who made the film. They got jobs at Acorn years ago to establish their credibility, knowing they were working up to this sting operation. It was either that or the entire thing was filmed on a set, and not in an Acorn office, and they were all actors.

They're having a hard time defending it now, but one guy is saying if we're going to condemn all of Acorn based on a few bad offices, then we need to condemn the entire military b/c there are a few rogue soldiers. Typical deflection-type argument.

I'm getting one next month when they come out with Windows 7. That's what I am waiting for. Walmart has Dell Inspiron with 19" widescreen monitor for just $298. I can work with my current computer if I increase text size. That is tolerable for a few more weeks.

Kucinich was an utter failure as mayor of Cleveland, taking it into bankruptcy and fostering its decline toward Detroit level despair.

Despite this, he is a “lock” for re-election every two years to Congress.
