No apology necessary. It’s called political caricature and has been used for millenia to make fun of political figures.

No way. Caricature has to be presented in a context where it's clear that that is what it is. A doctored photograph is not clearly a caricature.

No, not caricature. Caricature, to be caricature needs to be obviously that. Anything that appears to be real but is in fact fake. Is fake. To present photos that are photoshopped to appear authentic, and at the same time present an inaccurate image is not caricature. You should know that, probobly do know that.

Political caricature has no business in a "news" story. But I guess that little fact escaped your notice in your rush to defend the hysterically incompetent bigoted partisans at Major Silly Nonsense Broadcast Constantly.

I am curious. Do you even realize your aggressive stupidity is an evolutionarily regressive trait? I DO hope your parents have other children to carry on the family line. If all their hopes are locked up in you, I fear they are doomed to disappointment.

Do you actually believe that MSNBC has competent enough reseachers to detect that photo is a fake, and has been known to be fake for a year? They don’t. They are simply incompetent and are not anything like a news organization.

As far as I know she's a private citizen now. I hope her lawyer was watching.

In law, defamation – also called calumny, libel, slander (for spoken words), and vilification (for written or otherwise published words) – is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government or nation a negative image. It is usually, but not always,[1] a requirement that this claim be false and that the publication is communicated to someone other than the person defamed (the claimant).

A doctored photo presented as fact does not fall into the policial caricature category.

MSNBC ... apologize, correct it, or I will personally sue you.
