Can any good come out of Tiger Woods multiple adulterous affairs?
Examiner.com ^ | Dec. 10, 2009 | RĂ©ne Girard

We have seen Tiger Woods plastered all over the news lately - first for his automobile accident on Nov. 27th, and then for one alleged affair after another, multiple adulterous affairs with various women all over the country. The most recent spread count is 12.

It seems like Tiger Wood's reputation will forever be tarnished, endorsement deals lost, both kids and adults alike will have lost one more sports hero they could look up to, so even though it's been just two weeks into this golfer's very public nightmare, the question that begs answering is: Can any good come of this?

The answer is of course "Yes." A very resounding "Yes." Because good can come out of any situation; however, sometimes things must get worse before they can get better, and a person must face his/her sin head-on.

The Bible says "Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear his deeds will be exposed." ~ John 3:20

Tiger Woods deeds have been exposed. Exposed not just to his wife and those closest to him, but to everyone in the world. The flirting, the secret messages, the rendezvous, and the sex.

Tiger Woods released a public apology for his "transgressions." Definitely a move in the right direction. Now it is time for Tiger Woods to admit he has a problem. The same problem that plagues all of mankind ...

It would be a shame if Tiger quit the tour over this. He is an immense talent and he has raised the standard of the game. But he will never be the old tiger. There will always be the whispers. Even if he never strays again, there would be those women who would say that they were mistresses even if they weren’t that would pop up. It would not be easy and it will never be the same.

Good has already come from this, a filthy scum has been exposed. Besides, who in their right mind would think that a sports star should be a role model.

Will the PGA ever test for steroids? Why did the cops not get a blood test? In FL if you refuse - you lose your license on the spot.

When someone is a liar and violates trust (especially the wife dozens of times) - I have no use for them.

I sleeping with dozens of women then your wife. I cannot imagine what he spread to her.

If fewer people worship sports figures, no matter how talented, well, that’d be a good thing.

No pity for him, he’s a big boy, a married man and a father.

I do believe he knew what is right and what is wrong and he made his choice.

His wife will never, ever trust him again and once he sampled the fruits of his lust, that taste will always be there.

I guess fame and riches went to his head, both I would assume.

But he will never be the old tiger. There will always be the whispers.

Whispers? Have you ever been to a golf tournament? The crowds follow you and drink. Drink a lot. Then they aren't too shy to tell you about your playing and anything else that comes to mind. Don't be looking for Woods to be at any golf tournaments any time soon. He's trying to wait the scandal out and it ain't working.

Hopefully, the media and their viewers would get their priorities straight. Tiger isn’t a politician and what he has done doesn’t affect my life at all. I don’t buy merchandise because someone promotes it. Those political DC whores are $crewing us/USA big time - when will we have non stop coverage of that?

It probably won’t improve the reputation of cocktail waitresses, either.

The varied reactions to El Tigre’s indiscretions reveal alot about the people who are making the somewhat skewed points. On Cavuto, Mercedes Colwin basically said today that if you don’t want to get caught, here’s what you need to do: not communicate via cell phone, email, etc. Ummm..Could the real issue here possibly be the immoral behavior of the louses rather than the fact that they didn’t cover their tracks???

Alright already..........enough ! ! I'm so sick of everyone judging everyone Else's behavior. “Let he who is free of sin throw the first stone.”
Pay attention to Health care, cap and trade another stimulus package, a higher debt ceiling.....these are the important things facing us, not Tiger Woods or some other faux role model.

It’s not Tigers fault. It’s Elins fault for not putting out. Then it is the first waitresses fault for not putting out. And when she didn’t put out he moved on and then his new honey didn’t put out. Well, you get the picture, Tiger is simply a victim of frigid American women. He truly is a “good guy’.

“El Tigre” lol I like that! I don’t know who Mercedes Colwin is, but he/she is an example of how morally bankrupt some people are.

Well he has cursed me with this shower song:

Tiger got beat up by Santa's reindeer
Coming home from playing holes at night
Tiger's wife came to "help" him with a golf club
But the reindeer took it from her for the fight (for the fight)

Tiger's wife doesn't like his night game
She's told him not to do it, and "Honey, please don't laugh.
But if you're clubbing in the dark and lose your aim, dear
Your precious putter might get broke in half (broke in half)

(Repeat Refrain)

Now on every channel this is the news leader
His nighttime holes are counted up past ten
Folks suggest he change his name to Cheetah
And wonder can he ever swing again (swing again)

(Repeat Refrain ad nauseum)

Well, from now on, when some in the crowd yell out “get in the hole!” after Tiger putts, there will be at least a few snickers in the crowd.

Unfortunately sexual sin is everywhere and is ruining millions of people’s lives. Many issues come and go, but this one is here to stay.

plus it’s always good when we can learn from other people’s mistakes.
