CNN is displaying why they are losing market share. It's unwise to insult potential customers. A number of years ago my mother was considering an auto purchase. She had identified 4 or 5 models she was somewhat interested in but wanted to just see what they looked like before digging deeper. I took her to several dealerships to see what they looked like in real life instead of just internet photos. At one dealership she looked at a car and wanted to move on to the next place and a “salesperson” told us we'd be stupid to not want to take a test drive. Well, he was stupid for insulting us to our face. Needless to say, they never got a purchase from her...and they never will from me either.
