This has nothing to do with train track snow removal per se, but I thought that readers might also be interested in this fun FR thread about how a beautiful steam engine 'rescued' British passengers in December after the modern electric trains couldn't work during a heavy snow.

In England a few months ago they had a problem snow and te modern trains on I think a more rural line. They brought out s steam train and it handled it without any problems.

Well if you worked in that department you’d know most family doesn’t settle right after the funeral . . . it is many times set up as an annuity and death cases or amputation automatically mean a high dollar amount. I guess the claims agents and their managers have goals to meet too.
