You know I heard some tree-hugging babe say something to the effect that there is a difference between weather and climate...HUH??? I had to take an aspirin after that for the headache I had trying to figure that pearl of wisdom out...Incredible...

There is a difference.

Climate is what you expect.

Weather is what you get.

It's quite simple, actually. While cold winters (i.e. weather) are no proof that global warming isn't happening, a hot summer day (i.e climate) is undeniable proof that it is.

Heck we can't get a 3 day weather forecast right because it is too complex, but that climate thing only as one variable which is CO2...........

It's a quote; "Climate is what we expect, weather is what we get!"

Think it was Heinlein in Lazarus Long's Notebook.

What he meant is like Miami weather in the winter: we expect cool breezes, and we usually get 1 day hot & humid, 1 day hot and wet, 1 day cold and wet, and 1 day cool and breezy.

Bet'cha a plugged nickel she isn't aware of the author and / or meaning. Just parroting something another Warmist religious nut said, and thought it sounded all intalekshual and cool...
