I will have to wait until Saturday and ask hubby when he phones me from Idaho, he has saved most of the articles which I found, today he is otherwise disposed as he will be as well tomorrow making Saturday the first day we will be able to talk on the phone. I do remember her husband worked for Boeing then went into computers before he retired. They now live in a small town in north west Arkansas and she remained quiet about being Jr’s aunt until just before the date I posted as the day the story was published. It may very well be included in the Dunham family genealogy chart but do NOT go to familysearch.org for that info as anyone is permitted to post info there as I discovered asking my Mormon neighbor when I first went there looking for info on Stanley Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro. I am sorry I cannot post more info at this time but will look over the afternoon to see if I can find what you want. I may be able to find it using Google search with Free Republic posts as the primary source and the title of the article as the key, because I was the one who found and posted the article originally.

So Mik Taerg, what say you? The spelling agrees with your spelling, but Smith already covered that Periodicals and newspapers spell it both ways, but it also definately says he was the Chief Administrator on that date.

As an aside, I have found 3 separate people in the hospital using the chief admin@cpgh.co.ke address for correspondence on my search for this information. So perhaps multiple departments use this as a central e-mail dump.

Wow I don’t believe it, here is the original article in full and you will see what I mean about the mistakes and “slips of the tongue” by Virginia. Her older sister married a man and went to live in Germany but passed away a few years ago while Virginia was born in 1935 and seems to be enjoying her retirement.

Yes I originally posted that particular article and then I went back later in the week and found that the article had been reprinted with many of the mistakes corrected. I don’t know if the reporter was excited to find an actual Jr family member he could actually interview and didn’t bother do to any indepth research but as you can see the link I originally posted was for an article from the same source with a date four days later and the title had also been changed! There are a great many mistakes in that article including the fact that Stanley Ann died in 1970 when we know she didn’t, but Obama Sr died in 1971. What caught my attention was the fact that she mentioned that Stanley Ann was born near Seattle WA so I wondered whether it was a slip of the tongue and she actually meant Jr. I also found it interesting that Lolo is described as Hawaiian when we know he was Indonesian. I saw the family tree in the Chicago newspaper, at one time most of the Obama articles were unavailable even with a proper link and name of article. The same could be said of many of the articles which appeared which is why my hubby began saving them to his computer since he has a much bigger hard drive on his desktop than I do on my laptop. Unless you have a direct address many articles are now unavailable even those from the Hawaiian newspapers but if you have the direct address you can still access them except for one which was removed for some reason.

By the way it was often reported that Ralph Waldo Emerson’s wife, Ruth Lucille Armour, committed suicide but in fact she actually died of food poisoning as was reported in an earlier FR thread in 2009. If I can find the thread or the article in which I found that particular story I will post it for you. The story of suicide was yet another myth of the Dunham family being poilte.

Here is a link to the story in which it is mentioned that Ruth Dunham actually died of food poisoning the day after Thanksgiving in 1926 and it was specifically mentioned in her obituary in the local paper. Another myth is mentioned in the same article which says that Stanley Armour Dunham was kicked out of school for punching the principal in the nose. This story is also incorrect, but what else could we expect from this family? From my research I discovered an interview with one of Stanley Armour’s classmates who mentioned that he did not have enough credits to graduate therefore he had to return to school the following year to complete further courses to graduate. It gets quite interesting trying to sort out the truth and the fiction in this family so it is no wonder that Stanley Ann had a reputation as a consumate liar! She came by it naturally, children do indeed learn what they live.

Remember that at the time our discussion was about his name Helton or Heltan (It’s Heltan). I din’t give any importance to the date on your paper till I did the following (and honestly I don’t remember why I did it):

I did a search on the Kenyan Google mirror for Kenyan sources only- The search was for “Chief Administrator” + “Mombasa”. That’s how the name Othigo emerged and so I started putting the pieces of the puzzle together and.... yes, a certain Jennifer Othigo was CA of CPGH until at least April 13th 2009.

Last week I dismissed your claim to the possibility of a dual CA with that tender document from CPGH. I know that in order to convince your sutubborn followers I need something official from CPGH or form the Kenyan Health Ministery, like the official appointment of Maganga. I was thinking about asking the Kenya Official Gazette since CPGH is a public institution.
