They cut a lot of fishes heads off there, but crime against humans is pretty non-existent.

Its a great place place, get a good hotel though, some of them charge a lot but are nothing special, stick with a national chain.

The Keys are fantastic, and in Islamorada and rest of the upper Keys, the natives tend to be conservative Republicans. McCain-Palin got about 60% of the vote there in November of 2008.
