I have 2 options. I have a nice house on a remote lake that I would sell, or I have a rather large farm with creeks etc, that I would be willing to put a house on and allow access to the farm and ranch for hunting etc, for a 2 year renewable lease. If the SHTF, we would provide garden, food, game, beef, grain, water, and protection. I can put in a 2500 foot landing strip, also for light aircraft. Lots of options available, it just takes money.

Re your post 56 (sorry, I’ve been gone for awhile), those would be enticing offers to someone who’s looking ahead. There must be a lot of “cliff dwellers” out there who would like to take you up on them.

Nice thign about a remote lake location is that you can land a floatplane there most of the year. Most floatplanes also adapt easily to skis for frozen-over time in the winter.
