I reworked a little of yours and added some of my own:

A long, long time ago... I can still remember
How America used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my chance
I could keep us from becoming France
And maybe we’d stay free for a while.

But mid-March made me shiver
With every blog post I’d deliver
Bad news on the doorstep;
Socialism took one more step.

I can’t remember if I cried
When I read about Pelosi’s pride,
But the Constitution sure got fried
The day our freedom died.

So, bye-bye, Miss American Pie.
Drove my hybrid to the levee,
But the gas pumps were dry.

Do you believe in Christian love,
And do you have faith in God above,
If the Bible tells you so?
Obama thinks you’re stupid then.
And he’s the one with the magic pen
To sign big bills that make your money go.

Well, I know that we’re in trouble deep
`Cause Democrats kicked us in the ~bleep~
