We are supposed to start loving a liberal old coot simply because he threw an election and might need some hugs?
Sara hurt herself by backing McPain, and her appearances since have not helped her (just watched her presentation at Searchlight - great mastery of cliches but not what we need to hear).
For my part I'm starting to think that the CONTINUED McPain defenders are closet RNC hacks planning for another defeat in 2012.
Video runs 2:38 minutes.
You’re ridiculous. There are few “McCain supporters” here. Most FReepers simply agree with Rush in that they don’t like McCain, but they understand why Palin is campaigning for him and refuse to demonize her for it.

Oh, of course! If I were an Arizona resident, I'd be there today just to see Sarah, but I'd be wearing a JD Hayworth button, and I'd vote for JD in the primary. I would bet most of the crowd there are doing the same.
If JD wins the primary, I'm certain Sarah will be back to stump for him... ;-)
She's not running for office. McCain IS. Defending her support for McCain is the same as supporting McCain.
The single best message we could sent to the Lindsay Grahams and Olympia Snowes of the GOP would be a McCain defeat.
They gotta know we mean business. Too many times McCain played both ends against the middle. McCain-Feingold, gang of 14 to keep Republicans from using the “nuclear option”...because the Dems wouldn’t like it. The Keating Five. Enough. Send Hayworth a hundred bucks.
Saracuda has some sharp teeth.
PRay for America
As long as we conservatives continue re-electing our good old boy RINOs, Washington will not get the message that we want our country back.
They completely avoided the question about immigration. Same old garbage rhetoric.
I kinda think she's doing her best to fight the good fight. That's gotta be tough in the American Republican/Conservative mix. And about being "a standup gal," that's spot on. She declared herself for McCain before JD entered the race; looks like a "dance with who brung ya" case of stand-up to me.
She's doing the same thing a good man would do in terms of being honorable.
Gotta be tough.
In my humble opinion, the biggest threat to Palin is Mitt Romney. FR is (comfortably for me) an anti-Romney conservative website, but by no means do all who are "on the right" (that would be, not on the Democrat side) agree. I remember that FR skews my world view. But outside of FR, a lot of people, too many for comfort, feel a kind of safety in Romney because of his schtick and their lack of being informed and lack of grasp of the moral, honorable principle at the foundation of limited government Republicanism. Romney is the GOP's Eddie Haskell -- IMHO!
If this is a grassroots team effort to get conservatism to dominate the GOP, then one part of the way to succeed would have to be to douse Romney to help Palin. It's a pretty patriotic thing to do, and honorable.
O Doc, how could you? Keep your annoying facts to yourself. The fact that Sarah and Juan are going hand-in-hand over the desert wastes of Arizona is just so ..so.. awesome ... and cute, really! Sarah says Juan McLame is reallytrulyinhisheartofhearts, a real true-blue conservative.
You say they are ignoring AZ's tough new anti-illegal legislation ... saying it's a "State Matter?*" Refusing to comment?
Doc, That's just statesman-like on their part. You wouldn't want them to get all those Mexicans upset. After all, Karl Rove says they are the "Republicans of the future!"
*I thought a Senator represented his state ... just shows you how wrong a guy can be. Of course, international concerns are far more important. These good Latino folks are forced to come here illegally because they do the jobs that no American wants to ... or can! And now that they are to be covered by our great new Health Care Reform ... the more the merrier! Saludos amigos, bievenidos. ¡Es su casa,! Really!
I say no to McCain but daayyyyyummmm. She is good!
Sorry, I used the wrong Post to comment on.
I apologise.
Either they are liberals in disquise or useful tools of the Left. What would Ronald Reagan say about them? Barry Goldwater? We know what Rush Limbaugh has said about Sarah Palin honoring John McCain with the respect he deserves because he knows that Sarah is a woman with principle. These detractors know no principle, which is the first sign that they are liberals.
Ms. Palin left the impression yesterday at a McCain Rally in AZ that the TEA Party supports John McCain. She can not speak for me as a member of the TEA Party. I resent her saying he has our support. For me, she went too far including me (a TEA Party member) as a backer of John McCain. She needs to forget about the TEA Party when she extols his conservatism.
Of course she support Amnesty; she supports John McCain. And I think the we should all face this reality.
Her timing is just about perfect. The political and rhetorical skills she has, especially in front of a crowd, simply cannot be taught.
You are an idiot. It was a joke - the ORIGINAL Tea party (Boston duh!). It was a joke about his age.
Nicely done, Sarah.
I watched it twice- and noticed Cindy McCain could barely bring herself to clap - reminded me of the kidns of people that shake hands like limp, dead fish.
