OMG! Don’t they have a parade or something to plan? Leave the children out of this - let them be children. How is it that the same people who are always yammering about “it’s for the children, we need to protect the children”, are the same people who try to push this agenda. I wouldn’t want the kids exposed to heterosexual activities either. Stop trying to destroy their innocence!

This is why I send my girls to a private, conservative Catholic School instead of driving an Escalade. The payments are the same and I dont need a Caddy. Plus, the added bonus of my girls saying “Good Morning, Sister” when they see the pricipal in the hallway.
Now if only more parents would have the same attitude. Oh and kudos to the homeschoolers out there, too.

Actually, I wish every day was a day of silence for homosexual activists.
If the teachers are going to refuse to speak during class to push a political agenda, then they can just stay home and take a personal day to engage in their political activism.
I can see teaching them not to hurt/harm other kids who are overly nelly etc...
But these kids definately don’t need: “Intro to Fisting 101”
along side Reading Writing and ‘Rithmatic.
Plus there is no need to teach kids about this sort of stuff until they are are in thier teens, middle to late teens. And only teach them the basics, let them know if they have questions they can ask the councillor or a family member.
No need to force the agenda down everyone else’s throats.
Its not just gay sex though. Did you see the illustrated “be slutty” literature Kevin Jennings wants passed out from Kindergarten??

GLSEN and the "Day of Silence" are his babies.
And if even someone things "Well, I'll just keep my kid home that day" - you're fooling yourself if you think that'll keep your child safe from homo-fascist indoctrination. Materials are there, teachers subtly or not-so subtly promoting the "queer" (they use that word all the time, don't blame me) agenda, other kids telling your kid what's going on, other kids feeling that it's okay to "experiment", and on and on.

My kid has long graduated, but his school is having about 7 sporting events that day and a concert choir performance just after lunch. Yaaay!
