"The original point being that statement once rang true. They filled the jobs nobody else wanted."

They filled the jobs that they wanted. Face it, it was the businesses who didn't want whites working for them because they wanted to employ a low-wage people who would not complain about it. MANY white people would have taken those jobs long ago, had they not been minimum wage jobs with no benefits. In effect, whites were FORCED out of that job market because they could not survive on such low wages. Whites don't typically like to live with 18 people per 2 bedroom house. Nor do they like to eat cat or dog. These things are necessary on a lower-than-minimum wage/ and no benefits "package" the illegals were given. This whole thing has been one big government sponsored BJ after another.

Hey, dcprofiteer, how many of the illegals you used to pay to clean your properties *by your own admission* are still hanging around? You still paying them?

Absolutely true- every word. The rest of the story is illegals couldn’t live on those wages either which is why they overwhelmed medical and social services. Giving businesses slave labor cost taxpayers a fortune and it is past time to end it.

Construction jobs, agriculture jobs, service jobs, meat packing- all used to pay a decent wage and many American families were raised on those wages. Illegals took those jobs and depressed wages to the point many of those jobs pay the same as they did 20 years ago.
