Ironic thing is this strike was before the new ROE, these days they most likely would not have been allowed to call in a bomb on a structure like that.

Remember a JDAM is a pretty cheap weapon (comparatively speaking), it's a dumb bomb with a fin and nose kit.
Brilliant weapon, cost effective and as deadly as they come.
