“There are yet more accusations disclosed in the L.A. Times article that have not been dealt with by the DeVore campaign at all. These are the items I chose to discuss because they haven’t been talked about in the media...”

Well, I don’t think much of the LA Times either, but I’m pretty sure they qualify as “media”.

What an empty attack.

That’s pretty much a non-response, however. Typical polit-speak that offers generic praise without saying anything too specific.

Oh, don’t get me wrong, if this is the most “damning” fact in the series (and wouldn’t you want to start off with a “biggie”, to hook the readers for more installments?), then this is going to be a yawner.

Unless, of course, there’s a larger pattern of taking credit for other people’s work being established. Still, one would think the author would drop a hint or two on that score it the series was going that way.

Does the whining ever stop.

Someone is always demanding something that went to another.

Sounds like a bunch of toddlers, IMO

>With how much whining and sour grapes kvetching DeVore has done over not getting Palin’s endorsement, makes me wonder about how tough he really is.>

Exactly!!

One of DeVore’s quotes and on youtube is

Chuck Devore said: Taliban and Al Qaeda do not present existential threat to US. May 9th, ...

I guess that 9/11 thing was just a myth not to mention all the other attempts. It just takes one.

And if you believe Hunter hasn’t endorsed DeVore because he’s been “too busy”...

It will be nice when the primary is over and the republican / conservative destructive infighting ends and our energy is focused on the far left radial socialist which boxer.

Ca Republicans have a bigger issue with the Governors race. Neither candidate is very conservative.

Here’s the thing: I don’t know who Stacy Drake is, but I do know who Chuck DeVore is. He’s been well known in activist circles since his run for the state assembly, and won the CRA endorsement on the first round, with a better than 2:1 margin.

Forget Palin’s endorsement, that was calculated with an eye to Palin’s own future potential races. That’s just politics. But these trolls repeating the LA Times talking points are straight-up helping the ‘Rats.

There’s no need to slam Carly: there are offices and races in the future in which she could be a part of the solution. But there these trolls crawling out of the woodwork during a primary to slam DeVore are straight-up carrying the ‘Rats water. Makes me wonder if that’s their real objective.

Whatever happened to the 11th commandment?

Maybe Carly will do for Californian Republicans what she did for HP.

Carly made two major strategic moves during her tenure as HP CEO. First, she spun off the technical equipment division, which was the core HP business from its inception (analogous to alienating limited-government conservatives in the GOP.) Second, she accomplished a merger with Compaq at the insistence of Wall Street and over the objections of many shareholders and employees (analogous to embracing the big government RINO types.)

Neither strategy was very successful for HP. Under her leadership, HP stock went from $52/share to $21/share. Over the same period, its closest competitor, Dell, went from $37 to $40. And the company’s stellar reputation for product quality has been in shambles ever since.

Infoworld magazine declared Carly as the “anti-Steve Jobs” for reversing the goodwill of American engineers and for alienating existing customers. Portfolio magazine listed Carly in their list of “The 20 Worst American CEOs of All Time”.

A few planes and a few bombs.

The terrorists who flew the plane into the Pentagon lived 6 miles from me here in San Diego

Anwar al-Awlaki who is radicalizing terrorists, to kill
especially civilians and iman to these terrorists also lived in San Diego for 4 years and iman to the Dr who killed 13 at Ft. Hood and the Nigerian who tried to set off a bomb over Detroit along with the Paki Time Square terrorists.
This is a circular war, not WWII.
The enemy is already here.

They don't need to. Obama's doing a much better job of it himself, but that's another topic for another thread! LOL!

Can someone enlighten me, since I’m ignorant about this race-what exactly is the problem with Carly? From what I have seen, she is conservative on most issues. And, Rick Santorum has also endorsed her, so it’s not just Palin.

Is it just that Devore is more conservative than Carly, or are there some serious issues with Carly that don’t make her a true conservative?

Add it all up and it doesn’t come close to the level of an existential threat. You know it but admitting so would eliminate a fantasy hammer that you swing at Devore.

DeVore only has 16% and will not win the primary.
He is making it possible for Tom Campbell to win who
is not just liberal but far left in many issues.
Babs Botoxer won’t even have to campaign in the general election, she will walk in.
