Conservative supporters of Chuck DeVore seem outraged that Sarah Palin didnt endorse their candidate for the California GOP Senate Primary race to take on Barbara Boxer in the November election. To them, it seemed like the likely thing for her to do and I know DeVore himself had asked for the nod. DeVores supporters are operating, to this day on the notion that their guy is the one true Conservative in the race. They run off of emotion and perception but they are omitting many facts about the Senate race and about Chuck DeVore himself with their analysis.
Im going to go through a series of things I feel (this is all my opinion and speculation) as to why Chuck DeVore did not deserve a Sarah Palin endorsement. Ill be writing a short series of posts on the matter, starting with this one.

Palin stepped in a pile of crap. Yes...
but please let this go.. posting that picture inflicts extreme pain.. lol
but seriously..
its time to get over who endorses who and let the chips fall where they may..
sarah palin is not perfect.. but shes the best we have.
Stacy Drake needs to STFU.
He may not be the one true Conservative in the race but he is certainly the most conservative in the race and that’s good enough for now.
She just regurgitated the LA Times fictions
LOL!
I find the whole “retired reserve” issue to be pointless (a distinction without a difference, in my mind — if you served, you served, as long as you don’t misrepresent what you did *cough* *Blumenthal* *cough*), and the author, despite dismissing it, spent too much time discussing the fact that it wasn’t going to be discussed. Sheesh.
That said, I do find it interesting that the actual bone of contention in this piece is that DeVore took credit for one of Duncan Hunter’s achievements, which Hunter himself has said wasn’t DeVore’s idea. It’s a petty point, but it might point to petty nature.
As for “deserving” an endorsement... no one “deserves” an endorsement from anyone. They have to earn it in the mind of the person doing the endorsing. That’s pretty subjective criteria and can only be answered by the person doing the endorsing.
It seems as though the quitter now has her own attack dogs, held out at arm’s length and with all the proper disclaimers of course....
I have to say that after chemotherapy, Barbara Boxer just isn't that scary anymore.
then God help us!
I agree. If Duncan Hunter said it...I believe Duncan.
God did help us. We have Sarah. She is fighting Obama harder than any of the impotent losers in congress with a few exceptions (Michelle Bachmann, Paul Ryan ect).
Who is “the quitter” ?
With how much whining and sour grapes kvetching DeVore has done over not getting Palin's endorsement, makes me wonder about how tough he really is.
That’s according to the LA Times version. Hunter had nothing but good things to say about DeVore each time he’s talked about him, including his contribution to the program. The LA Slimes is making him out to be a pencil pushing liar. Here’s what HUNTER said about DeVore:
DH: You know, Ive been so busy that I havent got involved in that race and havent endorsed anybody yet. But I really like DeVore and I got a call from the LA Times about him, about his work on the Israeli missile defense system, or the mid range missile defense systems that we started up in the 1980s. That led to the development of the Arrow defense system that is capable of taking down SCUD missiles and similar types of ballistic missiles. DeVore worked on that with us, and I appreciated that. I thought it was a great contribution to national security.
You said: Stacy Drake needs to STFU.
Can't argue with the truthfulness of Drake's statement.
The best thing Carly could do for the movement would be to step aside and endorse DeVore herself. That would prove her bona fides as a conservative and I’d back her next time out.
We always complain that there aren’t any conservatives out there. This time there is, and his name is Chuck DeVore.
FTA: I know DeVore supporters will attack me for writing these pieces.
Can’t argue with the truthfulness of Drake’s statement.”
NOT THAT ONE, CERTAINLY.
Any quotes you care to share?
The irony of this coming from the Palin camp is self-evident, so I'll simply post it without comment.
