The reporter said that a supervisor for the census bureau said they can ask a neighbor about your home if you don't answer. I have never heard that, anyone know if its correct?

It's common practice. But, really, my neighbors only know the bare minimum facts. They don't know how much I make, how many toilets I have, what percentage of this or that race I consider my makeup to be, and so on.

In a way, having your neighbors answer (although its best if they mind their own business) assures an absolute minimum of reliable info.

Wow. That is scary.
If these people came to me about my neighbors, I do not care how much I knew I wouldn’t tell them anything.
