Helen Thomas is an elderly woman who has long been irrelevant but her strident left-wing views suit the MSM perfectly so they keep her around to say things that a younger 'journalist' trying to forge a significant career cannot utter in public because such remarks expose the harsh reality of their complete lack of objectivity.

Helen Thomas may have 'jumped the shark' this time, but her age (90 this year) and sheer longevity in the Washington D.C. press corp coupled with the recent worldwide hostility to Israel, thanks to Obama's signals that we no longer back the only democracy in the middle east, and her carefully-worded, ambigious 'apology' may give her just enough cover to get away with her vile, anti-Jewish remarks.

Still, her nasty comments have exposed her bitter hatred for Jewish people and although the MSM will try hard to cover this up or dismiss it as 'just an elderly woman mis-speaking', this won't be forgotten and perhaps a few American Jews will finally recognize that liberals are not the friends they thought they were - but don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen.
